Gumabao, Malinao and Florida: Early Fan Favorites For Miss Universe Philippines

With the Miss Universe Philippines right around the corner, many fans are gearing up to vote for their favorites!

In a fan-voting program powered by a shopping portal, Michele Gumabao comes out as one of the top candidates. As of October 18, Quezon City’s Michele Gumabao lands the number 1 spot followed by Davao’s Alaiza Malinao and Biliran’s Skelly Ivy Florida.

When fans vote online, their candidates can make it to the Top 16 of the finals. Each active account can vote up to 5 times per day starting October 15 to 22. While candidates are enjoying their time in Baguio where the pageant will be held, two hopefuls had to withdraw from Miss Universe Philippines because of COVID-19.

The Miss Universe Philippines pageant will happen on October 25 with a telecast on GMA and streamed online through Empire.ph and KTX.ph
