Abi Marquez has finally met Gordon Ramsay!
Known for her creative and innovative culinary creations, the food content creator presented the renowned chef with a unique Beef Wellington Lumpia, drawing inspiration from one of the latter’s signature dishes at his restaurant, Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill.
This came days after Gordon challenged Abi to make a Beef Wellington version of her famous lumpia recipes.
The “Lumpia Queen” bravely accepted the challenge and took the well-loved dish to the next level! She posted a video of herself making the Beef Wellington Lumpia and personally delivering it to the legendary chef at Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill PH for him to try.
“I am here with the proof,” Abi told Gordon as she served the lumpia.
The “Hell’s Kitchen” host immediately complimented its presentation, saying, “That looks good!”
They tasted it together, and Abi nervously awaited his verdict. Finally, he quipped, “I’m really sorry. I don’t like it. I f***ing love it!”
“That is a very, very posh spring roll. Delicious. May I have some more please?” he added.
