Set to take place this November, Garmin Run Asia Series embraces the theme “From Zero to Hero,” aiming to challenge participants with an exhilarating run that pushes them beyond their comfort zones while also promoting a more active lifestyle. The Garmin Run in Manila will be held at Filinvest City, Alabang on November 17, 2024.

Runners can choose among three categories: 5 km, 10 km, and 21 km. Aside from the fun, sense of community, and personal challenge, top performers can also go home with their very own Garmin watches. You can also expect exclusive promotions on Garmin wearables and the chance to explore the different offerings of the run’s sponsor booths.

Garmin Run Asia Series first launched in 2022, with three nations participating—Taiwan, Malaysia, and Thailand. In 2023, the run took place in Indonesia, Hong Kong, and Japan. But 2024 is going to be its biggest year yet, with nine countries on board—Taiwan, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, Vietnam, and of course, the Philippines.

Ryan Tan, President of NAVCO Group, Garmin’s official distributor in the Philippines, shared: “The Garmin Run Asia Series is an exciting cross-continental series of running events spanning multiple cities in Asia, and we’re thrilled to be able to bring it to Manila for the first time ever. This landmark event aims to cultivate a culture of running among Filipinos, promote a healthy lifestyle, and foster a sense of community.”
