Everyone has at least one pack of instant noodles in their pantry. They’re cheap, easy to prepare, and taste just as good. Plus, they come in so many varieties and flavors. It’s just as versatile when you upgrade it, as well.
While I’ve seen and done my fair share of ramen upgrades, one particular dish that caught my eye is the Elote Ramen that Foodbeast member Oscar Gonzalez whipped up. This creative mix is made with bold, zesty flavors of Mexican street corn paired with instant ramen.
To make Elote Ramen, Gonzalez uses canned corn, shredded cheese, milk, and a splash of lime juice, plus some hot sauce and Tajin for that heat. The resulting mix has bold flavors tempered by a creaminess, which is finished off with a refreshing spritz of acidity. It looks like such a treat!
