The full cast of the upcoming musical adaptation of the beloved Filipino romance film “One More Chance” has been revealed!
PETA dropped the announcement on its Facebook page on Sunday, January 28, while also confirming when the play will be staged.
Portraying the couple Popoy and Basha who were famously played in the movie by John Lloyd Cruz and Bea Alonzo are Sam Concepcion and CJ Navato, and Anna Luna and Nicole Omillo.
The role of Tricia will go to Kiara Takahashi and Sheena Belarmino while the role of Mark will be played by Jef Flores and Jay Gonzaga.
Other members of the cast are Ada Tayao and Rica Laguardia as Krissy, Poppert Bernadas and Paji Arceo as Kenneth, Via Antonio and Dippy Arceo as Anj, Johnnie Moran as Chinno, and Jon Abella as JP.
“One More Chance” the Musical will run from April 12 to June 16 at the PETA Theater Center in Quezon City. It will feature songs from Ben&Ben.
“One More Chance” which premiered in movie theaters in 2007 tells the story of college lovers Popoy and Basha who experience the ups and downs of their relationship as they grow older and pursue their individual ambitions. It was directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina.
