The Frazzled Cook Re-Opens in Tomas Morato!

The Frazzled Cook, a resto we’ve always loved, was once located in Luna Mencias (Shaw Blvd area). In spite of it being hard to find, we’d always go there because we really loved the food and the ambiance of the place. It was homey; it was quiet; it was just the place to hang out whenever you wanted to chill in the metro. One night, when I was supposed to have dinner with a friend, I set our meetup place at The Frazzled Cook; but to my horror, I found that it was no longer there…

A few months later, another friend invited me for lunch and said: “let’s go to The Frazzled Cook in Morato.” My heart skipped a beat. I was truly delighted to find that someone had the same sentiments as I had and had the heart to save it and re-open it in a more accessible location.

The Frazzled Cook is now located along Scout Gandia corner Scout Tuason with a bigger parking space and a bigger dining area for lovers and new discoverers. It is easier to find now, too!

There are also function rooms now for people who want to hold corporate meetings, bridal showers and other intimate events.  The ambient light in the resto also got brighter, which I like better.

It’s good to see The Frazzled Cook in a better light and place, but what’s even better is that the kitchen still comes out with the crazy good comforting food they used to serve in the old branch.

Wagyu Salpicao: super tender Japanese beef cooked Filipino style. One serving simply isn’t enough.

Lengua in Cream Sauce: once you’ve tried this, you’ll probably wonder how lengua got to taste so good.

Let’s not forget dessert!

Pancake ala Mode: didn’t sound that interesting when I first saw it on the menu, but when I tried it, oh, I immediately changed my mind!

Alamid Coffee: yes, meer cat poop coffee. It’s real, it’s still there and it’s still aromatic.

Aside from still serving old favorites, The Frazzled Cook has also updated their menu with new exciting dishes to look forward to. I won’t spoil it for you, though. Go find it out for yourself! 🙂
