Been hearing a lot of raves about Four Seasons Hot Pot City, so I was super thrilled when I finally got the chance to try it! I’m a commuter from Fairview, so just imagine the amount of effort I needed to do just to personally experience if all the good reviews were true. Also, when I learned that Four Seasons Hot Pot City is actually from the group that brought us our favorite Vikings Luxury Buffet and NIU by Vikings, I felt more at ease and excited as both are very trusted brands.
Basically, Four Seasons Hot Pot City is pretty much the grandest hot pot buffet you can find here in Manila. If you love eating at buffets and kinda minding your diet or just simply looking for a fresh and different kind of dining experience, you’ll never go wrong with Four Seasons Hot Pot City!
Ok, I won’t keep you guys waiting… =)
Step 1, is you have to of course familiarize yourself on how to operate the stove then the 2nd step is to choose your soup base to either chicken, pork, fish, vegetable or sinigang then followed by Step 3: choosing your preferred soup mix (either Sate, Szechuan, Tomato or Chinese Herbs).
While allowing your soup to simmer, now’s the time for you to roam around and get your fresh ingredients! Four Seasons Hotpot City features 7 main stations in it’s buffet line: (1) Meat, (2) Seafood, (3) Vegetables, (4) Appetizers, (5) Desserts, (6) Japanese, (7) Bar.
The whole place boasts of having such a spacious, fresh and elegant ambiance with lots of room to move around and natural lighting which makes it so conducive for gatherings of all sorts.
Here’s a look at their appetizer section loaded with pica picas as well as a smorgasbord of sushi to tickle your tastebuds
be sure to get a basket and pick your fresh greens and produce..
Tofu and sausages…
here’s all the dim sum imaginable!
if I’m not mistaken, this one’s the Vegetarian section
more dim sum and fresh meat rolls
Beef and Pork tripe, intestines etc…
more pork innards…
fresh seafood
You may also request for freshly sliced meats
They also have a section of cooked dishes to complement your hot pot creations
they also have a wide selection of refreshments
don’t forget to visit the sauces station and make your own sauce concoction!
And so after getting all your ingredients, now we go to the most exciting part… the COOKING PART!
Slowly dunk your ingredients one by one then letting it simmer for a few minutes until their cooked and ready! And since it’s a buffet, you can go on and on, for as many rounds as you want and even request for a new pot for a new set of soup base and flavor. The possibilities are endless!
Here’s their official video guide on how it’s done….
Personally, I couldn’t believe that even after eating so much, I didn’t feel as heavy or bloated compared to my usual food trips! Nothing compares to the happiness you feel after eating healthy nourishing food! I certainly won’t mind traveling to Mall of Asia again from Quezon City for this! Truly worth all the Edsa traffic! I will surely come back and invite my friends and loved ones! I heard that they will be opening a branch in Cubao soon so that’s really great news for us living in the north! Oh before I forget, their prices are super reasonable too! And similar to Vikings, here at Four Seasons Hot Pot City, every birthday celebrant may EAT FOR FREE for ONE WHOLE MONTH (click HERE to view conditions)!!
