Four Points by Sheraton Boracay: A Look Inside Boracay’s First Marriott Hotel

Boracay has finally welcomed its first Marriott hotel. Four Points by Sheraton Boracay, a Four Points by Sheraton brand under Marriott International, has opened its doors on the world-famous island.

Four Points by Sheraton Boracay is located in Station 1 and is a short walk from White Beach, Boracay’s main beach. Shops, restaurants, and a mall (with a grocery, pharmacy, and ATMs) are only a short distance away as well, giving you access to everything you might need during your island vacation.

And while accessibility is an important factor to travelers looking for a place to stay, at Four Points by Sheraton Boracay, it’s simply the tip of the iceberg. During our recent stay at Four Points by Sheraton Boracay, we loved everything it offered—from hospitality and beyond.

Staying at Four Points by Sheraton Boracay

Arriving, my group was welcomed by warm staff offering complimentary refreshments and cold towels. I love the hotel’s spacious lobby and reception area, with its high ceiling and modern and minimalist design. Natural light fills the space, too, coming through the floor-to-ceiling glass windows by the seating area and that stretches all the way to the dining area.

Checking in was a breeze—just make sure to have your info ready—and soon you’ll be handed keycards to your room.

I stayed in a Superior Room and, wow, it was much bigger than I expected. So much space! The room, meant for two people, was equipped with two double beds, a TV, a bathroom, a closet, a mini bar, a work station, and a lounge area. I love the sink and vanity mirror located outside the bathroom, with its marble-like finish and elegant lighting. It added such classiness to the room. (And for the ladies, a perfect makeup spot.)

There are five types of rooms at Four Points by Sheraton Boracay, ready to host solo travelers, couples, and small groups of friends and families:

  • Superior Room (35 sqm.) with two double beds
  • Deluxe Room (37 sqm.) with two double beds and a pool view
  • Premiere Deluxe Room (37 sqm.) with 1 king bed
  • Premiere Deluxe Lap Pool (34 sqm.) with 1 king bed and direct balcony access to a lap pool
  • Executive Suite (55 sqm.) with 1 king bed, a separate living room, 55-inch TV, a bedroom, a walk-in closet, and a beautiful spacious bathroom equipped with a bathtub

All in all, there are 339 spacious guestrooms at Four Points by Sheraton Boracay.

Relaxation, Dining, and Beyond

And can we talk about the pool? This might be my favorite spot at Four Points by Sheraton Boracay. In the middle of the hotel’s three buildings is this big, gorgeous stretch of pool area, perfect for relaxation. Grab a spot on one of the lounge chairs and order a drink from the poolside bar—that’s what I did!

The pool area also overlooks a smaller lap pool below, access to which is exclusive to guests of the Premiere Deluxe Lap Pool rooms.

And if you like staying active during your vacations, a 24/7 fitness center is also available. It’s small, but has all the essential machines. I used it on my last day to squeeze in a 30-minute run on the treadmill, and appreciated the ready towels for guests to use, as well as a water dispenser and disposable paper cups.

Hungry after your workout? Head to Evolution, Four Points by Sheraton Boracay’s all-day dining restaurant. The breakfast buffet was low-key my favorite part of the day—there’s just something comforting about hotel breakfasts. And this one from Evolution surely hits the spot. But come dinner, the restaurant offers a cozy spot to dine. Evolution provides classic Filipino comfort food and international dishes you’ll love.

For quick snacks, drinks, and coffee, the Lobby Lounge is ready to satiate, located right next to Evolution.

And although Four Points by Sheraton Boracay is an ideal space for relaxation, it’s worth noting that you can conduct business here, too. Above Evolution is a function room called Evolution Annex, which can seat up to 120 people. The space featured AV equipment and complimentary Wi-Fi, and rental means you also have a planning team to help you organize your event stress-free.
