According to Zel Rivera:
From August 4 to 8, held in Prague, Czech Republic, the 1st Philippine Team headed by the Official partner in Asia for the European Competitions of Leider Leis Musik Produktions, Berlin and Managing Director of Vega Entertainment Productions (VEP), Ms. Charie L. Vega, competed against 7 European countries such as Germany, Russia, Bulagaria, Ukraine, Switzerland, Malta and Czech Republic. This is the first time that the Europeans opened its doors to Asia, and the Philippines is the first and only Asian country invited to join their competitions.
The two Philippine delegates, KRISSEL JOY VALDEZ won the GRAND PRIX title with her song “I Believe in You and Me” by Whitney Houston and ALYSSA HERNANDEZ as 1st place with her song “Chandelier” by Sia.
Filipinos are indeed blessed with so much talent and this talent is already being recognized in Asia and America, and now being recognized in Europe is something every Filipino can be proud of.
