Family Of Slain Race Car Driver Enzo Pastor Launches Website To Help Catch His Killers
The murder of champion race car driver Ferdinand “Enzo” Pastor, who was shot dead while transporting an Asian V8 Championship racing car through Quezon City on the evening of the 12th of June, deeply shocked the tight-knit Philippine motorsport community and has remained unsolved to this day. Enzo’s family has now launched a website to aid in the capture of the killers.
The case has already made major headlines, with President Noynoy Aquino mentioning it in his recent State of the Nation Address and Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte announcing a P1-million reward for anyone who can provide information that leads to the capture of the killers.
The purpose of the Justiceforenzopastor.com website, according to information posted on it, is “To help raise funds that will aid in the successful investigation and trial of Enzo Pastor’s murder case.” It also states: ”Our vision is to successfully prosecute the perpetrators behind the killing of Enzo Pastor, and to prevent further senseless killings towards our fellow citizen by using this case as a model of how communities come together to help assure that justice will be served.”
