5th Philippine International Pyromusical Competition
ย
When in Manila, the month of love brings the city an especially joyful treat as the sky at Mall of Asia is brightened for six consecutive Saturdays with extraordinary firework shows by various countries participating in the 5th Philippine International Pyromusical Competition.
ย
On February 15, the Philippines started the competition off with an impressive 30-minute show of various fireworks lighting up the sky at MOAโs seaside. The thousands of visitors gazed at the spectacle as our very own host country put on an amazing show. Two lit-up birds flying in the sky and drawing a tail of fire sparkles behind them were a unique highlight in the Philippineโs show.
You could hear the viewers rave about this unexpected part long after the fireworks concluded. The show was underlined by several popular songs that set just the right evening scene for the amazed crowd of families, lovers and friends. While it presented beautiful fireworks, the Philippines itself is not part of the competition.
After a short break, Australia competed with a stunning firework show that had the viewers in amazement again. Accompanied by several classical and contemporary tunes, Down Underโs show did not fail to impress.
The competition each week marks the perfect highlight to a Saturday spent at Mall of Asia with its many choices of bowling, cinema, ice skating, restaurants, bars and seaside fair entertainment.
Should you have missed the opening of the Pyromusical Competition when in Manila, you will still have a chance to watch some seriously impressive fireworks the next few weeks. Let these countries put a smile on your face on one of the upcoming Saturdays:
