Apparently, Eric Fructuoso and Toni Gonzaga used to be in a relationship. This was revealed in an episode of “Sarap, ‘Di Ba” – GMA Network’s cooking/talk show.

On the show hosted by Carmina Villarroel and her twins Mavy and Cassy Legaspi, Fructuoso reunited with his “Gwapings” groupmates Mark Anthony Fernandez and Jao Mapa. As a guest, Carmina asked him his “hot seat question”: “Totoo bang nagkarelasyon kayo noon ng TV host/actress na si Toni Gonzaga?”

To which, he responded, “Parang hindi ko inexpect ‘yon ah?” “Actually, ako din,” Carmina admitted.
Eventually, he revealed the news saying, “Oo, meron.” Carmina exclaimed in shock and confirmed, “Ah, so nagkaron kayo ng relationship?” “Yes, before,” Fructuoso answered straight to the point this time.
To be specific, Carmina also inquired, “So sino mas nauna, siya o si [Claudine Barretto]?” According to Eric, it was Claudine before Toni. We recall that Claudine revealed her past relationship with Eric in a 2015 episode of “Gandang Gabi Vice.” However, Claudine did not divulge when exactly.

The former “Gwapings” member added that they were together for roughly three years, “kasama ‘yung wala lang saka ‘yung may commitment.” When the mommy host reacted on how long the relationship lasted, Eric also stated, “kasi hindi naman ako chickboy, minamahal ko naman sila.”
As to why they broke up though–if that statement were true–he quipped, “nagigising sila sa katotohanan.”
