Enrique Gil Takes on a Backstage Role as an Investor and Chief Marketing Officer

Enrique Gil has recently stepped into the world of events by officially taking on the role of Chief Marketing Officer and investor at Ticket2Me! With this new venture, he is on a mission to connect fans directly with their favorite celebrities and “push the Philippine scene internationally.”

Last week, the actor announced his upcoming comedy film “I Am Not Big Bird,” sharing the screen with a personally handpicked cast. Now with this new role, he plans to bring creative events and content too!

“Even if we are no longer there and I don’t have to perform, I’m still giving entertainment to the fans in my own way,” he told ABS-CBN. “Even if I’m no longer able to work with my physical body, I’m still providing content. Not only to the fans, but to my colleagues in the industry, for future artists, for international acts, or just to connect the fan with their idols. That’s the legacy we want to leave.”

As for what lies ahead, Gil has exciting plans in store. He intends to organize an all-celebrity sports tournament, reignite the EDM scene with an epic music festival, and basically, curate events that will unite people once again. “What we used to enjoy before, I just want to bring that back,” he said.

He emphasized that this venture perfectly aligns with his passion and stated, “You have to reach a point where you genuinely enjoy the work you do.” And more than just a business move, this is his way of giving back to the industry and leaving a lasting legacy. As he puts it, “This is me finishing my story.”
