Enrique Gil shared his thoughts on collaborating with former onscreen partner Liza Soberano.
The media recently asked the actor about actresses he would like to work with in the future.
โOf course, si Liza,โ he said. โBut sheโs focused in the US, ang dami niyang auditions and events (she has a lot of auditions and events). But when she comes back, we will definitely talk about the story.โ
He also mentioned that they have discussed a possible collaboration in the future.
โWe were talking the other day and sabi niya (she said) she is really interested in my other project, the horror. When she comes back, we will talk about the storyboard,โ he shared.
Enrique added, โShe also has a prod company there. Eventually, mag-collab kami (we will collaborate).โ
This December, the 32-year-old actor will return to the big screen with Strange Frequencies: Taiwan Killer Hospital, one of the ten official entries to the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF). The horror film, set in one of the most haunted places in Taiwan, was co-produced by him, acclaimed director Erik Matti, and producer Dondon Monteverde.
Enrique also revealed that he will make a TV comeback next year with a romantic-comedy series. Meanwhile, Liza made her Hollywood debut in the horror-comedy Lisa Frankenstein as Taffy, a performance that received praise from several movie critics and media outlets.
Enrique and Lizaโs last film together was Alone/Together, released in 2019. The popular former onscreen pair also starred in television series such as Forevermore, Dolce Amore, and Make It with You. Since then, both of them have been focusing on their solo careers.
