Expect to step into a whole new dimension when you arrive at Dusit Thani Manila as you are greeted by its larger than life golden pillars, grand spiral staircase and impressive chandeliers. The lobby’s grandeur leaves everyone at awe with its magnificence. Upon seeing this site, I knew I was in the right place and time! =)
At the reception, I was assisted by Mosh during my check-in. He was very helpful and accommodating with all my queries and even told me not to worry for he will personally do follow-ups for the confirmations I needed. I was really happy with his kindness!
Right after receiving my key-card, I couldn’t help but gaze over the delectable confections I saw at Dusit Gourmet…..
I was lured closer when I saw these delightfully designed cakes and to my surprise, the prices for their items were very affordable. The staff even told me that they offer it at 50% off daily every 8pm!

We stayed at a chic Jr Suite complete with all the amenities and facilities which luxury hotels offer such as:

The Jr Suite had a California King bed for addedcomfort. If you’re wondering how big it was, it’s like 2 queen beds joined together.

Dusit Thani Manila has been a well known brand in the hotel industry for many years, but I never thought that aside from providing guests with elegant stays, Dusit Thani Manila is also rich with gastronomical treasures awaiting to be discovered!

We have nothing but all praises in terms of the food, ambiance and service here at UMU. For pleasurable Japanese dining, you can never go wrong with UMU. Hands down… =)

Their warm and friendly manager Ma’am April graciously invited us to dine in one of their private rooms to enjoy an intimate lunch. Ms April recommended their specialties and we took the opportunity to take photos of every dish…

Afternoon by the Pool
After that highly satisfying lunch at UMU, Frank and I went around the hotel for a while then later on decided to spend the rest of the afternoon by the pool to relax.
There is something which I find special about this pool that words could not express. It looked simple yet very homey, no wonder kids and the “kids at heart” spend hours in this place.
We enjoyed the place a lot that we stayed for more than 2 hours! The pool only had a depth of 4 feet, making it very safe for the not-so-good swimmers like me. The water was also warm and soothing. After this experience, both of us agreed that it was one of our most pleasurable dips.
