5. Be Organized
Another key to enjoying Boracay on a budget is being strict about your spending budget, because whenever you overspend, you don’t end up as happy, do you? Some things that can help you stick to your budget:
a. Make a list of all the things you need:
Sun Block, Swim Suit, Slippers, Board Shorts, Hat, Shades, Beach Bag etc.
Avoid shopping for these essentials on the island, as it would cost you a lot more there.
b. List down your itinerary and costs to make sure you do stay on your budget and don’t get side-tracked or overspend on unnecessary trips.
Here’s a sample itinerary:
On day 2, we were supposed to go to Zuzuni for their choco lava cake, but sadly, they were closed for renovation. 🙁
When in Boracay, do not think everything is expensive. Remember that it all depends on how you spend and work around your budget. Be OC about your money and make sure you stick to your pegged costs as much as you can.
