Elait is actually a play on the words “Elate”, which means to be ecstatically happy and “Lait”, a French word for milk. I’d say that the name definitely suits the brand because each serving involves pure happiness in a cup!
Being the first to bring artisanal yogurt rolls in the Philippines, Elait takes pride in its fun and creative flavors made with premium ingredients.

Elait allows their customers to be part of the dessert-making experience – from choosing between a yogurt or custard base, deciding which toppings to add and which syrup to drizzle all over the rolled ice cream. The best part is that they make it right in front of you! Watching the preparation makes it all the more enticing.

Elait also has a number of signature rolled ice cream options that you can choose from. One of their newest is the Dragon Pavlova! It has a great combination of sweet to sour with kiwi, mango and dragon fruit toppings. The meringue also adds great texture.

The Bacon Brickle will surprise you. It turned out to be a perfect salty and sweet combination with its caramel sauce, and pretzel and bacon toppings!

The Strawberry Trifle kind of reminds me of a cheesecake. It’s a combination of strawberries, cream cheese, almonds, lady fingers, condensed milk and strawberry drizzle. If you’re not sure what to choose, you can’t go wrong with this one!

Overdoughs (pronunced as overdose) definitely stays true to its name. Get ready for a sugar rush because you’re about to have one! This brand features fun bite-sized treats with a range of rich and flavorful dips. Fill yourself up “dough it your way” style! You can choose from 3 different types of dough and 6 in-house special sauce recipes. These treats are perfect for snacking in the cinemas or simply while walking around the mall. One serving will actually make you feel quite full.
3. Deep Fried Cookie Dough – Php160
I’m sure I speak for many when I say that deep-fried anything is a definite guilty pleasure. I have no doubt that Overdoughs’ Deep Fried cookie dough will become part of your list of guilty pleasures. It’s a bit crunchy on the outside, but soft and chewy in the center. The surprise fillings, ranging from chocolate chip to oreo s’mores, definitely add to the fun experience of eating this.
2. Beignets – Php120
Beignets are like nugget-shaped doughnuts dusted with confectioner’s sugar. The various dips to choose from are overwhelming, but of course you can never go wrong with chocolate!
1. Loukoumades – Php120
Loukoumades are Greek-style doughnuts that have a crispy crust and a soft and smooth inside. I was given the option to choose among the following dips: Milk Chocolate, Dark Chocolate, Toffee, Honey Cinnamon, Matcha White and Special Nutella sauce. I honestly couldn’t decide because they all seemed so good. However, I finally followed my gut and chose the Matcha White – definitely no regrets. IT WAS SO GOOD. The rich matcha filling perfect complements the Loukoumades that absorbed the flavor pretty well.
Overall, I couldn’t recommend Elait and Overdoughs enough! Grab your family and your friends and be part of the dessert making process!
