Donnalyn Bartolome revealed that she’s officially in a relationship with JM de Guzman! In a lengthy social media post, she detailed their love story, sharing photos of them from a year ago cosplaying Megara and Hercules on a basketball court.
The actress-vlogger began her post by recalling their first meeting way back in February 2022, when JM made a pinky promise to collaborate with her. She disclosed that she thought they were only going to be friends.
“I thought we were only going to be friends. I was almost certain.. If everyone knew in detail how I felt, and everything that transpired, you’d feel the same, but the stars had something else written in them,” she wrote.

She said they even had promise rings during their “exclusively dating” phase, “During our exclusively dating phase, we assured each other promise rings, linked to the first promise we’d made to each other—a pinky kind for when we’re finally ready to be officially in a relationship.”
Donnalyn revealed that they went to Japan together to ask for her parents’ acceptance, which took them long to share the news. She then noted that they had been in a relationship since June 22, 2023.
“That on June 22nd 2023… A Hercules costume I made him wear at a basket ball court. He had a dream one night, ‘nanaginip akong nasa basket ball court tayo tapos sobrang saya natin,’ he told me,” she continued.
“I decided to make that a reality. I called out Goddesses to sway and twirl for a play, while I was Megara singing her song about Hercules. What better way can you tell a theatre actor you adore him?”

She praised JM’s determination and emphasized he awakened the love she didn’t know she still had to give to someone again.
“Even though I no longer believe in forever…I believe in Now. Spell it backwards, and that’s what he has done, the match to capture my heart, I declare out loud: Juan Miguel won,” she concluded.
In the comments section, JM wrote, “I love you, baby,” adding a heart emoji. He also expressed his love for Donnalyn through a sweet Instagram post, showing their promise rings with the caption, “I love you, baby. Palagi [Always].”

Donnalyn and JM sparked dating rumors in 2022. The actor revealed he’s courting Donnalyn in 2023. They announced that they were “exclusively dating” this May.
