Our Lunch Menu at Tita Lettie’s Grill
ย
Still a few hours away before the program, we took our lunch at their restaurantย Tita Lettie’s Grill first.ย Located just in front of the resort near the highway, it is easily accessible not only to guests, but also to passersby and even city dwellers who need to get their fill.ย They offer a variety Filipino comfort food and meals including Tapsilog, Kare Kare, Shrimp Ampalaya and their best-seller Crispy Pata, to name a few.
ย
Their featured meal for the whole week of the Chinese New Year celebration. It consists of Yang Chow rice, Pancit Canton, Lumpiang Shanghai and Kropek with sweet and sour sauce on the side.

A must-try at Tita Lettie’s, Their bulaloย warms the tastebuds with its rich beef broth. (Php265)
An unexpected favorite of mine. I was surprised by how much I enjoyed a dish I used to consider as my mortal enemy. Their version of the classic Pinakbet. (Php130)
Of course, my carnivorous side would not let this opportunity slide. Their Crispy Pata, as simple as it looks, entices a hungry man’s appetite. The crispy skin and well-flavored, tender meat mades me crave for more. (Php475)

As the clock struck 2, the program began. Though the sun was at its peak, everyone enjoyed the games and the intermission number with their comical mascots: the clay jar and the rabbit.

While waiting for time to pass, we had a few drinks to cool down from the heat. Mariel and I ordered their Iced Hazelnut Coffee, while Ms. Marlene opted for the Iced Mocha Coffee. We were slightly envious of Ms. Marlene’s order when we saw a heap of whipped cream on top. Nonetheless, we all enjoyed our drinks.

This rustic yet majestic resort

At 5 pm, a small show was presented for the guests. The first act was a showcase of some of the great leaders throughout world history riding in horses. It featured famous leaders and known icons like Genghis Khan, Lady Godiva, and many more…ย Though I still don’t get the relevance of that part with Chinese New Year, I thoroughly enjoyed watching them as they roamed the field and I listened to the narrators as they mentioned their contributions.
