What a blast to the past! Actor Dennis Trillo just treated friends, fans, and followers to a wave of nostalgia after he posted a photo of his Star Circle batchmates that was taken 20 years ago.
Dennis was among the Batch 10 of Star Magic artists which also includes Bea Alonzo, Alfred Vargas, Nadine Samonte, Karel Marquez, Andi Manzano, and TJ Trinidad, just to name a few. They were launched in 2001.
“20 years ago ni launch kami sa Star Circle batch 10 (20 years ago, we were launched as Star Circle Batch 10)!” Dennis wrote in the caption of his Instagram post, using the hashtag “#beterano (#veteran).” Dennis had done a couple of successful television shows in the ABS-CBN Network, namely “Pangako Sa’yo” and “Sa Dulo ng Walang Hanggan,” before transferring to GMA Network.
Some of his batchmates took to the comments to react to the throwback post. “Oh how time flies so fast. 20years ago na pala to hahaha,” actress Nadine Samonte said.
Meanwhile, fans expressed their love and support for Dennis as he continues to grow as an actor. “You were promising from the very start. Your short stint in Sa Dulo Ng Walang Hanggan was an indication that you will go places and you really did. Congratulations #fansince2001,” one netizen wrote.
Dennis is set to star in a new teleserye soon together with his longtime girlfriend Jennylyn Mercado.
