When in Manila, one of the most refreshing places to eat in is Dencio’s Bar and Grill in Capitol Hills, just a little past Ayala Heights, Quezon City—what with its breathtaking view overlooking the Capitol golf course, and a scenery away from buildings and the busy city.

Last Saturday, Spanky Enriquez of Juice.ph invited several foodies, including WhenInManila Managing Editor, Mae Ilagan, and I to a special event that showcased the restaurant’s favorite dishes. Here, I met Len Altea of TheMommist.com, who later became my ka-kwentuhan when it came to food, blogging, our favorite TV series, and my recent trip to the Da Vinci the Genius Exhibit at the Mind Museumย (https://www.wheninmanila.com/da-vinci-the-genius-exhibit-at-the-mind-museum-the-man-who-invented-everything/).
It was another food trip event that left my belly feeling pudgier and my cheeks fluffier. Nevertheless, you can never have too much sisig!
