When in Manila there is no doubt that action sports have quite a following of their own and skateboarding is no exception. With the emergence of social media, Filipino skate fans can now easily follow their favorite pro skateboarders as they progress through their careers. This in turn fuels the Filipino skate fans’ passion into being the best that he can be, hoping one day he might get the chance to turn pro and rise to the top of the worlds skateboard rankings.
DC shoes recognizing the growth of skateboarding in the Philippines and in the South East Asia region launches the DC South East Asia tour for 2013. The tour spanning across three different countries will bring DC’s world-renowned skate team to the Philippines, Singapore and Indonesia. South East Asia skate fans will have the chance to get an up close and personal DC skateboarding experience through in-store signings and skateboarding demonstrations. To kick of the tour, DC thew a launch party for the DC skate team at 7th High in The Fort Bonifacio Global City last August 31, 2013.
