CrossWinds Resort Suites: A Swiss Luxury Resort in Tagaytay
WHEN IN MANILA, a trip to enjoy the sweet scents of pine trees in Switzerland is less than 2 hours away. The 100 hectare property, owned by Brittany – a Vista Land Company, has about 20 thousand pine trees! It certainly feels a lot like Christmas is around every corner.
CrossWinds Resort Suites has 24 rooms and is the only Swiss-themed property in Tagaytay. (Studio rooms are big enough for one family with kids – 38-42 sqm; 1BR suite is at least 60 sqm; 2BR suite 80-100 sqm; and, the 3BR suite is around 120 sqm.)
We stayed in the 1-BR suite and it was lovely. We had so much space – a large living area, a dining area plus kitchen, 1 bathroom and 1 separate bedroom. Bringing of foods is highly encouraged when staying at CrossWinds Resort Suites – make the most out of their kitchen, complete with stove, oven, refrigerator, microwave and rice cooker. Pots, pans, chopping board and knife are also available for use.

Aside from the marvelous view and crisp pine scents, CrossWinds Resort Suites also boasts of its own Christmas Village, Christmas Store and swimming pool. As of the moment, they don’t serve lunch and dinner yet but a welcoming breakfast is prepared for the guests. Good to know, plans of putting up a gym, spa and restaurant are already in the making.

The helipad area is ideal for small events with a lovely view of the Alpine Village. Rental fee is 20 thousand pesos for 8 hours with a bonus scenic sunset.

But wait, we heard Santa has a house here in CrossWinds Resort Suites. My niece and nephew were so excited. This made their Tagaytay experience all the way more memorable because they were able to visit Sanat’s House at Christmas Village.
