Summer can be all fun and games but if you are in the city and looking for something to cool you down, then you have to head to Kuya J. Kuya J, known for their super delicious crispy pata, now offers halo-halo that will help you cool down and enjoy your summer even more.
Butย what makes Kuya J’s Halo-Halo Espesyal… special?
We sat down for merienda with Kuya J endorser Jericho Rosales to know what the buzz is all about.
When asked why he likes the halo-halo, he says that it is different from any other halo-halo out there and is something he recommends to be tried out.
The very first thing you will notice is the kind of ice they use for the halo-halo. Unlike other restaurants, their ice are shaved paper-thin and the texture is similar to ice cream. The ice used in Kuya J is flavored so you will automatically taste the rich and creamy taste of milk that melts in your mouth.
The ingredients for the halo-halo is what you would expect minus the beans. It has super delicious macapuno, red and green nata de coco, sweet langka, caramelized saba, ube jam, a heaping spoonful of leche flan, a sprinkle of corn flakes, and ube cream.
Because the ube and leche flan is really good, you may want to order an additional serving. Each order comes in a cool price of only Php 99!
The serving is quite huge as well and is perfect for sharing especially in a budding summer romance.
If you are looking for the perfect Merienda to go with ย your Halo-Halo, Kuya J also has some tasty Filipino merienda.
