CONFIRMED: Childish Gambino Will Be Playing Lando Calrissian in Han Solo Spin-Off

A couple of months ago, I wrote about the rumours that Donald Glover aka Childish Gambino would be playing Lando Carissian in the upcoming Han Solo movie spin-off.

Well, it’s official! The directors of the movie, Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, have finally spoken up and confirmed that the rumours are indeed true! They even candidly apologised for ruining comic con for Childish Gambino forever. :p

So far, fans seem very pleased with this casting announcement, which is pleasantly surprising, seeing as most of the time, fans are divided when it comes to casting announcements. Let’s hope Glover does the role justice!
