Even if you’re on a diet, there should be at least one day in every week for “cheat day.” And on that rare day, it is but right to enjoy the most comforting of food in exchange for the calories. During cheat day, which is practically every day for me, here are some of the food I indulge in because they are delicious and the calories are sooooo worth it!
10. Wings World from Frankie’s New York Buffalo Wings
One dozen wings, three flavors namely Smokey Barbecue, Garlic Parmesan, and Nagoya Tebasaki. Best to devour with an ice-cold beer. Best to enjoy with friends to experience a variety of flavors. Get this and then split the bill.

9. Beef Nachos from Silantro
An appetizer you can share with your best buds from Silantro is their melted cheese-topped nachos. This is a crunchy starter to any meal and also a best friend to your ice cold beer.

8. Dirty Fries from Charlie’s Grind and Grill
Fresh Igorota Idaho potatoes with rock salt and ground black pepper, with bleu cheese, bacon bits, diced tomatoes, green onions, and then topped with grilled chicken liver. Chicken liver FTW!

You can pair boardgames with a heavy meal at Dyce N Dyne. The King of Kare Kare will make you feel like a winner even if you’ve been losing on the games. This comfort food of crispy beef ribs and tripe with peanut butter sauce is there to satisfy that craving on the boardgame.

5. Hakao from Causeway
Going Chinese when indulging, the Causeway’s hakao will never disappoint. Delicious and plump shrimps are covered with soft and thin wrap. Dip them in soy sauce, calamansi, and chili. Perfect!
