Coldplay fans and couple, Motty and Danna, made their dreams come true during day one of Coldplay’s “Music of the Spheres” Manila concert.
For those who attended the concert on January 19, you probably saw them right before Coldplay took the stage! They were the ones who introduced the band in their adorable clothes while holding hands. Danna was even wearing a colorful skirt and wig and pink wings!
Motty and Dana started dating in March 2021. According to the former, they crossed paths at an international Coldplay online community in 2020, as they were both hardcore Coldplay fans. Unfortunately, the couple had never attended a Coldplay concert and missed the band’s previous concert in 2017.

Despite not being able to attend a Coldplay concert, they never gave up and decided to fulfill their dreams as long-time fans by asking Coldplay on X if they could open their upcoming Manila concert a week before the show. Take note: a week before the show.
To their surprise, Coldplay responded to them and agreed! On its official X account, the band wrote, “Nothing would make us happier PH.” What a dream, right?

“It was such a surreal once-in-a-lifetime experience to be standing on the same stage as our favorite band and introducing the band,” Motty said.

Coldplay held a two-day sold-out concert in the Philippine Arena on January 19 and 20 for its “Music of the Spheres” world tour.
