Cocoon Boutique Hotel is Philippine’s first Green Hotel. Dating back to 2011, they were the pioneer of this concept. From the building itself to the interior decorations, everything is made out of wood mostly sourced from Central Luzon. Even their cooling system and provision of organic toiletries aim to promote sustainability and support their ethical beliefs.

The name of the hotel means exactly what it is– a cocoon. It is where one can stay and come out renewed and invigorated – similar to the metamorphosis caterpillars undergo in order to become butterflies. This is made possible by their in-house facilities where the body is refreshed (swimming pool), rejuvenated (spa and salon), and nourished (Abuelas, their specialty restaurant).
The Rooms
The Deluxe room is perfect for solo travellers or those with travel partners. It comes with two sofa chairs and one bathroom. This may be their smallest unit, but it is definitely bigger compared to other hotels — total value for money!

The Studio room is for those who enjoy more space to complete their relaxation. It is perfect for friends or families since it has a mini living room. This is actually be room of choice because of its just-right size and very nice interiors — the lighting is just perfect.

The Two-Bedroom Master Suite is perfect for families (or friends with a budget) looking for a soothing staycation. It consists of two bedrooms, one living room, and three bathrooms. This unit is very large. In fact, it can be compared to a small house. The Two-Bedroom Master Suite will definitely make you feel right at home with maximum comfort and relaxation.
All of these rooms are inclusive of various amenities, including a 42-inch TV that is WIFI-ready with USB port for DVD and MP3. If you want to have a movie marathon before going to sleep, their wide TV will definitely help you in that department. The room is very cool, as well, with their Inverter air-conditioning technology. You may think that this uses a lot of electrical power, but it is actually designed to conserve energy without compromising on quality.
Let’s not forget that they have fast unlimited wifi literally everywhere. I emphasise on “fast” because it is really fast compared to the usual wifi connections we all know in the metro. This is probably something every millennial will enjoy because they can enjoy all of the hotel’s amenities while sharing it with their friends online.
All of the rooms also have the following: Coffee/Tea Service, Minibar, Hair Dryer, In-room Electronic Safe, and a 3-units IDD/NDD telephone set-up. For the bathrooms, every unit has a Bath Tub (which is a complete WINNER) and is complete with organic toiletries (toothbrush, soap, shampoo, shower kit, shaving kit, etc.), 100% Egyptian Cotton towel sets, and 100% Cotton Waffle bathrobes.

Guests may also enjoy dipping in the pool while being caressed by the gentle breeze, thanks to their cooling system. This pool is even more beautiful with the view of the city still alive at night– a true “city of stars”.
Foot and whole body massages are also available on the second floor of the hotel. For guests, they have 15 minutes of complimentary spa services to complete the whole experience. This is another reason why your stay at Cocoon is worth every penny.
Cocoon Boutique Hotel also offers an events place for their guests at the top-most floor. It is inclusive of food, so clients can enjoy a hearty meal during their meetings/seminars/birthday celebrations/etc. A lot of people are booking this spacious function hall (it can fit up to 100 people), though, so be sure to reserve it ahead of time!

Abuela’s is Cocoon’s in-house restaurant; it is located at the roof deck. As you eat their signature food, the breeze of the wind and the cool vapor coming from the pool will make you feel like you are eating on an island. Their pork-belly with mashed potato, leche flan, and house-blend iced tea are must-tries!
