Clothes Buffet Manila – 1 Bag, 15 Minutes, Over 30,000 Clothes To Choose From!
Clothes Buffet Manila was definitely the shopping event of the year! How can you not love the concept? Each shopper, for the price of just Php1,999 is given one buffet bag and 15 minutes on the clock, and is ushered into a buffet floor – of not food, but clothes! With over 30,000 clothes to choose from in such a short time, you need to be a quick and efficient shopper, but it was well worth it!
When we arrived at the Il Terrazzo building in Tomas Morato, we could easily see where to go from the numerous signs leading down the stairs to the registration.
We approached the registration booth where I presented my Clothes Buffet Manila Ticket and photo ID, and was given my buffet bag! The bag may look small, but you’ll be amazed by how much can actually be stuffed into it!
After registration, we went to check in our bags while waiting for my buffet wave number to be called. No purses are allowed on the buffet floor, so it was definitely good that we arrived early, so we had time to check in our bags. Then, finally, my wave was called and I was led all the way up to the penthouse where the buffet floor was while my photographer/fiance David was ushered to the mini-bazaar where he would be able to take photos of the buffet floor while I was in clothes-grabbing action.
After a short orientation where the staff explained the rules, accompanied by a quick video presentation of the Do’s and Dont’s of Clothes Buffet Manila, they released my wave to the floor! Since mine was one of the last waves of the day, there was only about 20 other people, which I was happy about as it meant I didn’t have to worry about being elbowed by other women trying to fight over clothes! Many of the earlier waves, however, were sold out – with 60-75 people per wave!
