The public will have the chance to pay their respects to Chef Margarita Forés.

Her son, Amado Forés, announced the public viewing schedule for the late chef-restauranteur’s wake. It will take place at the New Frontier Theater from 11 AM to 10 PM, with a novena mass at 7 PM. The public may also join the novena mass via Zoom.
A funeral mass will follow at the same venue on February 20 at 10 AM.

They also requested that instead of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to organizations close to Chef Forés’ heart, such as the ICANSERVE Foundation and CARA Welfare Philippines.
Prior to the public wake, Chef Forés’ family held separate wakes on February 17 for their hospitality teams and on February 18 for friends and family.
Chef Forés passed away at the age of 65 on February 11. According to a report by GMA News, she suffered from cardiac arrest in Hong Kong.
