One of the most anticipated films of 2017 is Coco, which we saw a sneak peek of earlier this year. However, the trailer doesn’t reveal much. In the short clip, we see a dog chasing a bone which turned out to be part of a living skeleton (yes). We see references to Mexico’s Dia de Muertos (Day of the Dead), but we don’t have a clue what the film is really about. Now we do because a new trailer has been released and it looks so good!
Watch the trailer of Coco below:
In the trailer, we learn that the film will follow Miguel, a twelve year old boy who dreams of becoming a musician. However, his family shuns music, even if his idol, his great great grandfather Ernesto de la Cruz, is an accomplished musician. Miguel visits the Land of the Dead to find out the story of his family’s secret.
Miguel will be voiced by Anthony Gonzalez, and he will be joined by Gale Garcia Bernal, Benjamin Bratt, Renee Victor, Ana Ofelia Murguia, and more.
Coco will be released on November 22, 2017.
