Baybayin is an ancientย script used by Filipinos used during the 16th century to the 19th century. It was based on the Brahmic Indian script, and was used even during the Spanish Occupation. It’s not clear why we stopped using this ancient text, but at some point, we started using the alphabet we use to this day.
One Filipino artist decided to revive the art of Baybayin and apply it to modern brands. Lloyd Zapanta reimagined the logos of known Filipino brands with Baybayin text, and it looks amazing!

Nice one, Lloyd Zapanta! ๐
Sayang at ndi naipagpatuloy ang paggamit ng mga titik baybayin. Mas lalo sana tayong makikilala dahil dito.
Dapat nating gamitin ‘to. Ito ang pinakamagandang halimbawa ng pagiging tatak Pilipino.
