Captivating Katkat, the winner of Drag Race Philippines Season 2, just paid a visit to Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte.
On Monday, October 9, the drag queen shared a photo of her with Mayor Joy during her courtesy call to her office, while joking about it being the other way around. “Maraming salamat sa pag bisita sa aking opisina @mayorjoybelmonte. [A]nxiety!” she wrote in the caption of her post.

The QC mayor posted her own set of pictures from the courtesy call on X as she expressed gratitude to the queen for engaging in an open discussion regarding the city’s LGBTQIA+ initiatives.
“Boogsh!
Maraming salamat muli, Captivating Katkat! QC is proud of you.”

Katkat impersonated the mayor during the drag competition’s snatch game, where each queen would dress up as a chosen person and put their improvisational skills to the test. Katkat ended up winning the said game despite never having impersonated the mayor before and preparing for the game “on the spot.”
She succeeds Precious Paula Nicole, who won Drag Race Philippines Season 1.
