5. Das Burgery
Superior ingredients done right. That is what makes this burger joint a winner.ย I am not proud to say that I am not a fan of burgers, but this one might have just changed my mind.
Door 4-B Monfort Motors Bldg., Lacson St. Mandalagan, Bacolod City.
4. Portiko
This newcomer is already making some buzz in the food scene, and for good reason. They make simple Filipino dishes sexy, at least for me. That juicy, succulent cansi steak sizzling in its own juice and goodness will make you come back for more.
23rd St, Bacolod City.
3. Delicioso
Our love-hate relationship with carbs continues, but mostly just love for their paella negra, truffle jamon pizza, and pastas. And to shower us with more love, they have an impressive selection of wines and beers. Tip: Pre-order the paella.
Lacson Street, Mandalagan, Bacolod City.
2. Sitting Duck
A cozy diner that serves eggs benedict and cocktails all day is almost like an answer to all my prayers. And thank your lucky stars because their barbecued ribs is the best God-given ribs you can find. Tip: start with the social swimmers (crispy fried herring) and artichoke dip.
Paseo Verde, Mandalagan, Bacolod City.ย
1. Terrasse Bistro
Heart-stopping decadence at its finest. Their kitayama wagyu beef sinfully paired with a bone marrow is everything we need in our lives. And because we can never have enough bone marrow, try their roasted bone marrow with onion jam too. Scratch that, try everything. Tip: Book ahead, bone marrow supply is limited.
The District, Ayala North Point, Talisay (5 minutes outside Bacolod).
