BTS’ Jimin has a heartfelt Christmas gift for ARMYs! The K-pop superstar released a new single,ย Closer Than This, and a music video for it today, December 22.ย
According to BigHit Music,ย Closer Than Thisย is a fan song that “encapsulates Jimin’s genuine feelings for ARMY.”

In the song, he expressed his gratitude to ARMYs for supporting them through the years and assured them they would meet again after their military enlistmentโit is definitely a comfort song!
The music video touched the hearts of ARMYs as it showed clips of Jimin and BTS from their debut days and previous awards shows and concerts. There were also behind-the-scenes of him writing and recording the song.ย

All BTS members have enlisted in the military. Jimin enlisted on December 12 alongside Jungkook. They’re set to return as a group in 2025.
