ARMYs might have to wait longer for the highly anticipated BTS comeback, which was initially slated for 2025.
During HYBE’s third-quarter conference call on November 5, CFO Lee Kyung-joon shared updates about the group’s future activities, as reported by multiple Korean news outlets.
He revealed that the agency is in discussions with the BTS members about their plans for 2026, hinting that the much-awaited BTS comeback might not push through in 2025.
“We are currently in discussions with the members about activities in 2026,” Lee Kyung-joon noted.
He added, “While a full group comeback would generate considerable revenue, we expect it will not account for as high a share of our earnings as in the past, as our other artists and new ventures are also contributing to growth.”
Although no official statement has been released, ARMYs seem to have anticipated the potential delay of BTS comeback, recognizing that the group needs time to rest following their military discharge and prepare for their new projects.
Despite the setback, many ARMYs remain optimistic, viewing the potential delay as a chance to save up and prepare for the upcoming BTS concert. Plus, with Jin and J-hope currently pursuing their individual activities, there’s still plenty to look forward to while we wait for the official BTS comeback!
