Multi-hyphenated social media star, Bretman Rock, is going to be among the many guest stars in the newest Disney reboot of “The Proud Family” show!
The rebooted animated series, “The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder!”, is debuting on the Disney+ platform next year and is picking up from when the original show left off. This means we’ll be seeing the return of the main protagonist, Penny Proud, and her kooky family: parents Oscar and Trudy, twin siblings BeBe and CeCe, and grandmother Suga Mama (and her loyal pooch Puff)! We’ll also get to witness how Penny’s best friends are doing too, namely Dijonay Jones, LaCienega Boulevardez, and Zoey Howzer, among others.
Original cast members will be returning too to voice our beloved characters! Reprising their roles are Kyla Pratt as Penny Proud, Tommy Davidson and Paula Jai Parker as her parents, JoMarie Payton as Suga Mama, Cedric the Entertainer as Uncle Bobby, and so many more.
The most exciting part, however, is the number of Hollywood names set to provide their voices to guest characters in the show. Apart from Bretman, we can also look forward to hearing Lizzo, Lil Nas X, Jane Lynch, Chance the Rapper, Normani, Tiffany Haddish, Brenda Song, Keke Palmer, and tons others.
It is unknown what character Bretman is set to play but we’ll definitely be keeping our eyes and ears peeled for updates.
