Ahead of its release on digital music service apps, “You & Me” was initially performed by Jennie on BLACKPINK’s Born Pink World Tour. Attendees of Coachella 2023 in July also enjoyed a remixed version of the song during the group’s historic performance at the BST Hyde Park in London. Since then, fans could not wait for its rollout.
We recall that BLACKPINK Jennie made her solo artist debut with “SOLO” in 2019. Her co-members Jisoo, Lisa, and Rosรฉ respectively released their solo albums with hits “FLOWER,” “MONEY,” and “On The Ground” prior to their global concerts, during the K-pop girl group’s almost two year-hiatus. Jennie, on the other hand, made her acting debut on HBO’s “The Idol” by The Weeknd and “Euphoria” creator Sam Levinson.
