American singer-songwriter Billie Eilish walked down the memory lane as she grieved the loss of her childhood dog, Pepper. She shared the news on Instagram and paid tribute to her beloved pet by posting photos of them for the past 15 years.

“pepper. my life long best friend. i will see you again someday sweet girl. you made it 15 years you fucking beast. i love you. rest easy mama, i’ll miss you forever. this is a really hard day,” [sic] she wrote.

The post includes childhood photos of Eilish cuddling with Pepper and posing with her family. The “Bad Guy” singer also shared photos to her Instagram Story, where she was kissing the dog’s head with the caption, “goodbye my angel.”
