The singer is known for wearing baggy clothing to hide her body from the public. In interviews, she’s shared that she wears this signature look to avoid being sexualized. However, this didn’t stop the singer from receiving negative comments about her body.

With this, the 18-year-old narrated a short film where she addressed the comments she’s received about her body. The film showed the singer wearing a black hoodie as she seemed to strip down to her bra before sinking off into the water.

In a voiceover, the singer said, “You have opinions about my opinions, about my music, about my clothes, about my body. Some people hate what I wear, some people praise it, some people use it to shame others, some people use it to shame me — but I feel you watching.”

“Is my value based only on your perception? Or is your opinion of me not my responsibility?” the singer asked as she ended the video.
