Batman Through the Years – Happy 75th Anniversary, Bruce Wayne!
Can you believe it? Batman is 75 years old today! To mark this milestone, Warner Bros. Entertainment and DC Entertainment have revealed plans for a year-long celebration befitting the world’s most popular superhero. Some of the highlights of this anniversary program, which starts today, include a new commemorative 75th anniversary Batman logo and an exclusive “Cape/Cowl/Create” art exhibit featuring 20 contemporary artists’ interpretation of The Dark Knight’s iconic cowl headpiece and cape from the upcoming Batman: Arkham Knight videogame. There will also be 75th anniversary-related activities across all of Warner Bros. Entertainment throughout the year.
The new commemorative logo, also released today across social media and websites, takes its cue from the famed Bat symbol, and features block-style lettering of “75 Years.” The mark will be rolled out on Batman-related promotions, products and initiatives.
Batman first appeared in the comic book Detective Comics #27, which featured artwork by Bob Kane and a script by Bill Finger. From there, Batman emerged from the shadows and became one of the world’s most popular superheroes, easily dominating all sorts of media – from movies to TV shows to video games to merchandise. In fact, Batman has had more theatrical movies released about him than any other comic book character to date.

For the Philippine campaign, a raffle promotion will be launched starting July 23 until December 31 in all video stores nationwide. Customers who will purchase the Blu-ray or DVD of any Batman films will get a chance to win a 1/6th Scale Collectible Figure of The Joker, and a Life-Size bust of Batman from Maxi Collector.
