Barbie Forteza and Jak Roberto have ended their seven-year relationship.

The Kapuso actress confirmed their split on January 2 through an Instagram post, bidding a “beautiful goodbye” to Jak.
She began her post with a quote from American author and cartoonist Dr. Seuss, “Don’t cry because it’s over. Smile because it happened.”
“Having you in my life was the happiest I had ever been. Seven wonderful years. A lot of laughs, a lot of ramen, and so much love. Your love was exceptional,” she wrote. “But sometimes, good things fall apart so better things can come together. Beautiful goodbye, @jakroberto.”
Barbie expressed her heartfelt gratitude to Jak for loving her the way he did and wished him well in finding the love he deserves.
“Thank you for loving me the way you did. I am excited for what’s to come for the both of us. You take care of yourself. May you find the love you deserve,” she added.

The “Pulang Araw” actress also asked for the public’s understanding, “I hope for everyone’s understanding and I wish you can help us put this matter to rest.”
Barbie and Jak, known for their love team JakBie, began dating in 2017. They starred together in the television series “Meant To Be” and “KaraMia.”
