When the whole town celebrates, it doesn’t really matter who won. Thing is, all have enjoyed. Or maybe, yes winning is also nice for bragging rights? Yehey! When all performance’s over, all this photo-hungry people just flock towards the dancers. Who can blame them, all those dancers were cute. They borrowed the head-dress and props to make them look gorgeous in photos. How cool was that? You crazy people, I don’t do it of course. I just capture some creative shots, while searching some friends I knew. But yeah, they were that elusive and hiding (Kristine Galeno, where are you?).
When in Manila, it’s rewarding to see the cultural and community context of a town in a different lens. There’s drama and action in every festivities, right? Never thought, this small town has so much to offer and to show the world. Given the time and opportunity, it could be one of those tourism hotspots you will gladly discover.
