We’re pretty much convinced that Avril Lavigne has been spared by the gods from the unfortunate circumstance of having to age.
Honestly, the 36-year-old singer looks the same as she did all those years ago singing about “Sk8er Bois” and how things are “Complicated” while wearing red highlights, striped neckties, and heavy black eyeliner. Because of it, it feels so surreal just seeing her swap out her iconic punk rock clothing with a green string bikini on her latest Instagram post.
“Summer in Malibu,” she wrote in the caption.

Her risqué photoshoot earned thousands of likes and comments, with fans and friends complimenting her fierce and sexy look. Plenty of others couldn’t help but point out how she managed to keep looking as young as she has.
Avril received the same kinds of remarks in her recent skateboarding video with legend Tony Hawk that went viral. In it, she flaunted the same fashion style she was known for wearing back during the scene days: a black tank top, black shorts, black sneakers, and a red and black striped tie hung around her neck.
At this point, it’s safe to say that she’s a vampire. (We’re kidding, of course.)
According to reports, Avril has finished her new pop-punk album and is set to release all-new music sometime in the next few months. Her last album was released in 2019 called “Head Above Water.”
