ASTRO’s Moonbin Has Passed Away

Sorry. As an AROHA, I’m still in a bit of a shock as I write this… but ASTRO’s Moonbin has reportedly passed away. 🙁 He was only 25 years old.

Mere weeks after Diffusion in Manila with fellow ASTRO member Sanha and their comeback as a sub-unit, Moonbin’s manager reportedly found Moonbin dead in his home in Seoul.

The police suspect that Moonbin took his own life, but the exact cause of death is yet to be investigated.

My heart hurts even more to deliver this sudden news to the fans who have supported Moonbin and sent generous love. I am more heartbroken because I know the heart of the deceased, who always loved and thought of his fans more than anyone else. So that the bereaved family, who is in great sorrow due to the sudden sad news, can reverently commemorate and grieve the deceased, we earnestly ask you to refrain from speculative and malicious reports. According to the will of the bereaved family, the funeral will be held as quietly as possible with family, friends, and company colleagues in attendance.
