Aracama, located at The Fort Strip, has been known for its sumptuous Filipino dishes by Chef Fernando Aracama, and as a restaurant providing a comfortable and convivial dining experience. Pushing the envelop further on all flavors that are Filipino, Aracama just launched its new weekday night concept, #ARACAMALIVE by Radio Republic – as a new venue for original Filipino music. The grand launch that was held last April 8, 2015, hosted by Zach Lucero of Radio Republic and Joyce Pring featured live performances by Sino Sikat, Assembly Generals and Imago. Manila’s indie, rock and live band enthusiasts flocked the venue to check out the newest home showcasing good and live Filipino music.
Aracama, in partnership with Radio Republic, will be featuring both new and established artists weekly from Mondays to Thursdays. After the restaurant’s dining hours, the Terrazas or outdoor part of the venue transforms into a lounge with a full band set-up featuring different artists ready to entertain its guests with live Filipino music. For its soft opening run, some of the artists such as Techy Romantics, Kjwan, Yolanda Moon, Lady-I, Mayonnaise and Barbie Almalbis have taken the mic. It is a place where fans can watch their favorite rock, indie, reggae or even up and coming college bands at no cover charge and in a more laidback setting with lenient dress code. Drink promos will also be offered alongside their favorite “street food” inspired bar chow such as Fishballs, Kwek-Kwek, Lumpiang Sisig Bites, Vegetable Empanada and Hot Potato Chips.
Aracama continues to pursue and promote the Filipino culture by providing a warm and easy-going ambiance, unique and delicious regional flavors and live Filipino music.
