Aloe Derma and AloeCure Product Review: Organic Beauty and Health Solutions

In this high-tech age of ours, where it seems almost everything can be duplicated artificially, more and more people are clamoring for a return to all-natural products. The burgeoning trend of organic items in the market cannot be denied. Proponents of organic products say that such products contain fewer toxins, are healthier and safer for the environment, and promote fair trade.

Aloe and Beauty

One such proponent is Organic Basket. Founded four years ago by Bettina Osmena and Bingbing Quiros, it is the company’s vision is to deliver only the best organic products to an ever-growing health conscious consumer. They are the exclusive distributors of the aloe vera-based health and skin products of the American Global Health Group (AGHG).

Aloe is a plant from the lily family. Originally from West Africa, its most well-known species is the aloe vera. The aloe vera’s fleshy and cactus-like leaves contains a clear gel that people use to soothe minor skin problems. Aloe use also has beautifying effects. It balances complexion, smooths skin, adds luster and body to hair, moisturizes, heals, is anti-wrinkle, and tightens and brightens skin. What’s good about the aloe vera used in Organic Basket’s product lines (AloeCure and Aloe Derma) is that they’re all certified organic by ECOCERT from France, one of the strictest certifying bodies in the world.

Anyway, I tried their products earlier this month, and my overall feedback is positive. The said samples were of the following:

Aloe Derma Super Hydration Booster (110 ml)

Aloe Derma Super Hydration Booster

Aloe Derma Super Hydration Booster

Aloe Derma‘s Super Hydration Booster is an all-natural facial moisturizer. It’s touted to have 200 vitamins, minerals, and amino acids, so your skin gets that extra glow. The best thing I can say about this is that it’s refreshing and moisturizing yet doesn’t give you that icky sticky feeling you usually get from the intense humidity in the country.

This product is pretty easy to use. tpp. Just dab several drops of the Booster using your hand and spread it evenly onto your clean face and let it air-dry. It’s also pretty economical. I’ve been using my sample for more than a week now and I’ve only consumed about 10% of the bottle’s content so far.

Ingredients: 99.8% Organic Aloe Vera juice, Citric Acid, and Methylisothiazolinone.

Aloe Derma Pure Aloe Vera Gel (45 g)

Aloe Derma’s Pure Aloe Vera Gel protects the skin from dryness and irritation. It is recommended for sunburns, minor wounds, eczema, psoriasis, scalds, and rashes. It also contains anti-fungal and antibacterial properties that discourage infection.

I gave my sample to a friend who just had a phlebectomy (an outpatient procedure used to remove varicose veins on the surface of the leg) for her to use on the affected areas. These are her unedited before and after pictures.

Since wounds fade naturally, she doesn’t think that it was the gel that faded her wounds. However, she does appreciate the fact that it’s soothing and moisturizing, as it definitely controlled the itch in the affected areas and she didn’t have to resort to antibiotic and anti-itch lotions anymore.

If you have a burn, wound, rash, or cut, simply apply the gel onto the cleansed area thrice a day until it is fully healed.

Ingredients: 99% Organic Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Carbomer, and Methylisothiazone.

According to the founder of ACHG, Douglas Jewett, “AloeCure is a daily dietary supplement for anyone looking to naturally balance their stomach acidity.” This powerful daily dietary supplement with FDA label approval has polysaccharides, malic calcium, amino acids, vitamins, and minerals which promotes a healthy digestive system and extends the life of your body’s vital organs.

AloeCure comes in natural and grape flavors. I tried the natural flavor variant and its taste is something that you need to get used to (imagine actually drinking organic aloe vera). It mixes well with fruit juices, smoothies, yogurt, and milk, so I suggest mixing the product with any of those if you prefer. I only consumed one bottle so maybe it’s too soon to immediately discern any noticeable effects. It’s best served cold.

Those with chronic hyperacidity are recommended to take 60 ml of AloeCure twice a day. If you suffer from occasional bouts of hyperacidity like heartburn, you can just take AloeCure as needed. You can also use it as a daily dietary supplement and/or as an immune booster if you’re feeling sick. If you have digestive function discomforts, you might want to give this a try.

Natural flavor ingredients: 99.7% certified organic aloe vera extract, citric acid, xanthan gum, sodium benzoate, and processed with pure water.

Grape flavor ingredients: 98.7% certified organic aloe vera extract, honey, citric acid, xanthan gum, sodium benzoate, stevia extract, grape flavor, and processed only with pure water.

Good for your health? Check. Certified organic? Check. Why not try Organic Basket’s beauty and health solutions? 🙂
