The Farm at San Benito is one of the most sought-after places for a staycation because of its luxurious facilities.

This eco-luxury holistic medical wellness resort sits on 52 hectares of lush greenery, with a life-sustaining microbiome ecology, a stunning view of the majestic Malarayat mountains, and pure fresh air. Guests enjoy world-class service, the cherry on top of an excellent stay (The Farm was awarded the Philippinesโ€™ Best Wellness Retreat 2024 at the World Spa Awards UK).

Another perk guests can access is The Farm’s lineup of restaurants. There are five: ALIVE!, PRANA, PESCE, THE UPPERDECK, and the newly-launched Souffle de Vie. The Farmโ€™s wellness cuisine is essential to the healing food concept advocating plant-based, locally sourced, organically-grown, and farm-to-table philosophy. Its dishes are rich in phytonutrients, enzymes, and antioxidants that nourish the body while boosting the immune system.

The Farm’s restaurants used to be exclusive for guests, but now, everyone can stop by to dine at any of these spots.

Get to know the restaurants below:

ALIVE!

ALIVE!โ€™s living foods gourmet cuisine is rich in phytonutrients, enzymes, and antioxidants that nourish the body while boosting the immune system. Ingredients are grown and produced fresh from the property as part of The Farm’s farm-to-table philosophy.

Start your meal with freshly cooked House-Made Fries, which are crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside.ย We recommend theย Aglio Olio Pasta for the mains. This dish is tossed in garlic, olive oil, and chili. It may sound simple, but the garlic shines through. Cap off the meal with the decadentย Pecan Chocolate Cake a` la Mode. The cake has an almond and pecan crust, chocolate, and dates topped with vegan ice cream. It’s a new flavor for those used to traditional cakes, but it’s worth it.

PRANA

PRANA offers Indian vegetarian dishes bursting with flavors through herbs and spices. The restaurant is influenced by Ayurveda, an alternative medicine system that has been around for thousands of years. Prana isย the Sanskrit word for breath, life force, or vital energy.

Spice lovers will enjoy the Tomato Rasam Soup. This soup features tomato, cumin, coriander, and turmeric. We recommend getting the Samosas, a savory pastry made from whole wheat flour dough filled with potato, green peas, and a mix of herbs and spices. Make sure to dip it in the special sauce. For the mains, we enjoyed the Vegetable Biryani. The addition of cranberries added a refreshing sweetness that complemented the savory flavors. Make sure to add raita or yogurt dip.

PESCE

PESCE is The Farmโ€™s pescetarian restaurant that focuses on health and longevity. It takes its inspiration from the Mediterranean Blue Zoneยฎ diet. PESCEโ€™s menu consists of organic living foods, like whole grains, fruits, vegetables, and fish, as a source of protein for a complete and balanced meal. Blue Zonesยฎ are longevity hotspots worldwide that reflect the lifestyle and the environment of the worldโ€™s longest-lived people. PESCE offers a buffet breakfast for checked-in guests every morning. Make sure to try the Banana Bread.

THE UPPERDECK

THE UPPERDECK serves pasture-raised chicken and eggs, accompanied by whole foods and the freshest farm-to-table produce sourced directly from the property’s local farm.

Try theย Roasted Butternut Squash Soup With Pumpkin Seeds & Pesto Oil. The soup is a purรฉe infused with herbs and spices, has a hint of cinnamon, and is sprinkled with toasted pumpkin seeds. Follow this up with the Salmon in Tomato-Basil Cream Sauce Pasta. End your meal with the Basque Burnt Cheesecake, a classic favorite.

Souffle de Vie

Souffle de Vie is The Farm’s newest restaurant, formally opening in December 2024. Guests, however, can already visit and have authentic French cuisine.

We recommend starting with the Soupe a lโ€™Oignon Gratinรฉe or French Onion Soup. This excellent start to your meal is flavorful thanks to its rich beef stock. For the salad, we enjoyed the Salade de Lentilles Vertes,ย a green lentil salad with apple slices, burnt tomatoes, and honey mustard dressing. When we think of salads, we think of leafy greens, but this worked so well.ย The Linguini aux Palourdes is a great choice for the mains. This dish is a linguini pasta served with clams and huge prawns in white sauce.

We won’t blame you if you want to try all five restaurants because the food is delicious, the ambiance is great, and the service is exceptional. To try all five, we recommend booking a stay at The Farm. Check out this room tour of the Narra Pool Villa:
