Actor and singer Ian Veneracion paid a surprise visit to an aeronautical school in Iloilo City as a “substitute professor”!
On Instagram, he posted a video of him entering a classroom with his face covered.

“Iloilo to Manila: While waiting for my flight, I passed by an aeronautical school; mag-substitute professor kaya ako?” he captioned.
As a licensed private pilot, Veneracion shared his knowledge about aeronautics by giving a short quiz to the students. He even wrote “Capt. V” on the board to introduce himself.
“First flight of Orville Wright, when was it?” he asked.

The students cluelessly answered, then he proceeded to the next question, “Mach 1 is equal to?”
Upon writing the answer on the board, he removed the bandana covering his face, which filled the classroom with cheers from the students! It was seen in the video that the actor shook the hands of the students as he exited the classroom.

Netizens left humorous comments on the post, jokingly assuming Veneracion was their professor. Some wrote:
“Pag ganyan naman talaga di na ko aabsent sa school na ko matutulog.”
“Sir kung kayo ang teacher, mag-eenroll ako sa lahat ng subjects niyo. Waaaah!”
“Kahit ako na ang magbubukas ng classroom araw-araw HAHAHAHAH! Walang aabsent! Chariz!”
“If ikaw prof ko, keri lang maging repeater.”
Veneracion starred in several films and TV series, such as Unbreakable, Make it With You, and One Good Day. His recent projects were ABS CBN’s drama series The Iron Heart and a suspense thriller film Nanahimik ang Gabi.
