Kapamilya actor Sam Milby admits on national television that actress Anne Curtis is his “greatest love” during the October 11 episode of Vice Ganda‘s Gandang Gabi Vice.
It was also revealed that the actor remained single after his breakup with Anne six years ago. This prompted Vice to ask, “Wala kang mahanap na katulad in Anne, ganun?” [Rough Translation: You can’t find someone like Anne, is that so?] To which the actor responded, “Kailangan maging katulad ni Anne?” [Rough Translation: Does she need to be like Anne?]
Sam Milby then clarified that he does date, but he still hasn’t entered a serious relationship yet. He explained, “Walang serious na relationship. I’ll admit, because the first few years, alam mo yung parang, nag-date-date ako, tapos na-realize kong hindi pa ako ready. It was a hard break-up for me.” [Rough Translation: “I haven’t been in a serious relationship yet. I’ll admit, because the first few years, you know, I do date but then I realized that I’m not yet ready.

Vice Ganda then asked the singer-actor is Anne is his “TOTGA” or the one that got away. The actor quickly replied, “Hindi rin, I don’t believe that. She’s, you know, my greatest love until now, pwedeng sabihan yan. Pero I don’t think she’s the one that got away.” [Rough Translation: “No, I don’t believe that. She’s, you know, my greatest love until now, you can say that. But I don’t think she’s the one that got away.
“]
He also made it clear that he is happy for Anne and her current boyfriend Erwan Heussaff. “First off, alam ko na happy na happy siya, and ako, I realized that I’m okay kasi alam ko na happy ako para sa kanila [Anne and Erwan.] Nakikita ko sila na parang, ‘you know what bagay sila,’ happy ako para sa kanila. And ako, I’m excited kasi alam ko, hahanapin ko yung babaeng para sa akin.”
[Rough Translation: First off, I know that she’s very very happy, and for me, I realized that I’m okay because I know that I’m sincerely happy for them.
